In short: No – my macro art is not digital manipulation
I work with professional macro photography and various light sources to reveal the natural structures of a gemstone. The color effects, reflections, or unusual plays of light are created exclusively by light, optics, and the stone itself – not by filters or artificial interventions.
Post-processing is limited, if applicable, to:
- slight adjustment of brightness
- fine correction of contrast
I never use:
- color filters
- AI effects
- retouching of structures
- artificial elements
- manipulations of the natural inner world
If a photo was taken, for example, under red light, UV light, or colored scattered light (which sometimes produces extremely fascinating results), then I clearly and transparently state this in the image description.
My macro art shows the truth of nature – just more visible.
No tricks, no illusions, no manipulation of colors!
Only the stone, the light, and the moment.
