Principle
The protection of your personal data is important to us. We do not collect customer data through our own systems. The processing of order data is carried out exclusively by Shopify Inc. as the technical platform.

What Data Is Processed?
As part of the ordering process, Shopify processes the following data as technically necessary:

• Name and delivery address
• Email address (for order confirmation and shipping information)
• Payment data (encrypted via the respective payment provider)
• IP address (for technical reasons)

As the shop operator, we have access to order data (name, address, ordered items) exclusively for order fulfillment.

No Marketing, No Tracking
No marketing emails are sent, no tracking pixels are used, and no data is shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

Shopify as a Platform
Shopify Inc. (Privacy Policy: https://shopify.com/legal/privacy) processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy. Server locations may be outside Switzerland (USA/Canada).

You have the right to access, rectification, deletion, and data portability. Please send requests by email to holger@character-gems.art.

Data Retention
Order data is stored in accordance with statutory retention requirements (10 years).
