➡️ Technical specifications

Open Axis clearly differentiates itself from the deeper, more densely structured stones in the series. The emerald cut reveals a linear geometry that does not hold back light but rather guides it through the stone.

The color appears as an open, clear pink with a slight purplish tendency, without tipping into dark zones. Light enters, is distributed along the elongated facets, and remains visible over larger areas. This creates a calm, even overall impression without strong shading.

The cut supports this openness. Broad facet surfaces act like optical planes that hold the color together while allowing light to pass through. In contrast to more compact stones, there is no feeling of density, but rather of space.

The internal structure is visible and intermittently breaks up the surfaces without dominating the overall image. It appears as part of the materiality, not as a disturbing element.

At 2.06 carats, the stone remains in a wearable range, yet shows enough surface to clearly convey its color and geometry.

Open Axis does not function through intensity alone, but through a balance between color and light. A stone for designers and collectors who appreciate structure and clarity without sacrificing color impact.
