➡️ Technical specifications

Rubra Structura is a distinctive 1.48 ct spinel with a precise octagonal step-cut (Asscher cut) that develops a remarkably calm, powerful presence through its clear geometry and structured color effect.

The color presents as an intense red with deep tonality, focusing less on immediate brilliance and more on substance and inner density. In motion, the stone reveals differentiated light guidance that particularly emphasizes the architectural faceting.

The spinel has been professionally re-polished, visibly optimizing symmetry and surface precision – an intervention that significantly strengthens the clarity of the lines and the overall effect of the cut.

Gemologically, it is an untreated spinel (no indications of heating), confirmed by independent examinations from Lotus Gemology and ICA GemLab.

During the analysis, Lotus noted minor external residues from the polishing process (FF-01). This is a superficial, non-structural finding that neither affects the stability nor the intrinsic value of the stone but can occur in the context of precise re-polishing.

Rubra Structura represents a minimalist, substance-oriented interpretation of red spinel – less effect, more depth.

Lotus Gemology (Bangkok) – Boutique‑Labor für Farbedelsteine.

Schwerpunkte: Identifikation, Behandlungserkennung und Herkunftsbestimmung (insb. Rubin, Saphir, Spinell); strikte, ästhetikorientierte Report‑Philosophie („the GEM is the most important part of gemology“) und eigenständige Forschung.
