➡️ Technical specifications

Luminous Drift is not an opal defined by maximum color explosion, but by its calm, flowing effect. The semi-transparent body appears almost milky, forming a soft base over which the play of color moves slowly and organically.

The colors do not appear dominant, but rather zoned – primarily green and yellow with individual orange to reddish areas that briefly light up depending on the viewing angle. This behavior does not create permanent intensity, but a changing, almost slow emergence.

With 9.42 carats, the stone offers sufficient surface to make this play of color clearly perceptible without appearing massive or heavy. The cabochon cut supports the calm light guidance and enhances the impression of depth and movement within.

Typical material characteristics such as smaller inclusions are visible and part of the natural structure. They are not prominent but integrate into the overall effect.

Luminous Drift is an opal with a subdued presence – less a spectacular effect stone than a piece that reveals itself through time and movement. This is precisely where its charm lies.
