➡️ Technical specifications

Strata Flux is not a uniform sapphire. Its effect comes from internal movement. The color is not flat, but breaks into clearly visible zones that move between deep blue and greenish transitions.

Linear structures, which appear like layers, are bundled in the center. They do not guide the light uniformly through the stone, but interrupt and change it. This creates an image that is based less on brilliance than on change.

The light is dammed up inside and then returned along individual areas. Some zones appear clearer, others denser and duller. This alternation creates a visual depth that appears active rather than calm.

The cut enhances this effect. The facets are not designed to create maximum brightness, but to keep the existing structure visible. The outer shape remains compact, while the interior is constantly changing.

At 1.88 carats, the stone remains controlled in size, but develops its own presence through the zoning. It appears less like an object that shows light, and more like one that influences it.

This sapphire is not a classic blue gemstone. It functions through layering, movement, and materiality. A stone for designers and collectors who value structure and process more than homogeneous color.
